Overview:
You will be responsible (primarily) for our corporate business; i.e developing the business potential of our talent development platform for corporates. We’ll need you to be great at developing relationships, lead generation and conversion, communicating like a pro and closing deals.
If you’re the ambitious kind who loves networking and developing thought-leadership, you’ll thrive in this position. Huge plus points if you are passionate about the future of work and/or the 4IR and can demonstrate it adequately. You will need to make presentations and pitches often so this is something you’ll need to be GREAT at.
You’ll collaborate a lot with the Comms and PR lead and the tech team so working with people is something we hope you enjoy.
Responsibilities
- Selling our talent development training product to corporates, businesses, communities of learners and potential investors
- Setting goals and developing plans for Village2nation’s Academy business and revenue growth
- Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives for Village2nation Academy.
- Researching prospective accounts in our target markets i.e instructors, learners and investors
- Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle
- Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients; investors and partners
- Ensuring that our Net Promoter Scale reads great at all times
- Retaining clients and convincing them to purchase other products or features we offer
- Attending conferences and industry events to gain knowledge on how we can establish ourselves as a trendsetter in the EdTech field
